Rajiv Shah, M.D. Former Administrator of USAID (2010-2015) and Distinguished Fellow-in-Residence, Georgetown University As Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Dr. Rajiv Shah led the efforts of nearly 10,000 staff in more than 70 countries around the world to advance USAID’s mission of ending extreme poverty and promoting resilient, democratic societies. He pioneered new public-private partnerships, catalyzed scientific innovation and enlisted the private sector and Congressional leaders of both parties to join in this cause. Previously, Dr. Shah served as undersecretary and chief scientist in the U.S. Department of Agriculture, where he created the National Institute for Food and Agriculture. Prior to joining the Obama Administration, he spent eight years at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, where he led efforts in global health, agriculture, and financial services. |

Peter Raymond Practice Leader, Public Sector Financial Services and Capital Projects and Infrastructure, PwC Peter is the US Leader of Pricewaterhouse Cooper's Capital Projects and Infrastructure business as well as Public Sector Financial Services. He brings more than 20 years of experience working around the world with public and private sector entities on the design, delivery and financing of large scale capital and infrastructure projects. Among his experience, he has served as advisor to the US Department of Transportation on the evaluation of transportation investment models, innovative project delivery and alternative financing mechanisms; as advisor to the Federal Transit Administration on their Public Private Partnership Pilot Program (Penta P), as advisor on the private sector development of the Trans-Texas Corridor and in similar capacity on other projects. Peter earned his Master of Science in Foreign Service degree at Georgetown University. |
