Gloria Sangiwa | Senior Director of Technical Quality & Innovation in the Center for Health Services and Global Technical Lead for Chronic Diseases, Management Sciences for Health (MSH)Dr. Gloria Sangiwa is a psychiatrist and medical practitioner who serves as Management Sciences for Health’s (MSH) Senior Director of Technical Quality and Innovation in the Center for Health Services, as well as the Global Technical Lead for Chronic Diseases. Dr. Sangiwa oversees MSH programs that focus on chronic diseases; she also provides leadership for program teams in other areas, including HIV and AIDS, TB, family planning and reproductive health, maternal, newborn, and child health, malaria and other communicable diseases. Dr. Sangiwa has contributed to the implementation of HIV&AIDS prevention and care interventions and is now translating that experience to scaling-up comprehensive prevention, care, and treatment of chronic diseases in low and middle-income countries. She participated in the Global Task Force on Expanded Access to Cancer Care and Control in Developing Countries and is on the advisory committee to the Global Forum on Cervical Cancer. She holds an MD from the University of Dar Es Salaam and postgraduate qualification in psychiatry.
